Weber County, UTAH – Authorities say two persons were rushed to local hospitals with critical injuries following a motorbike collision on Sunday. At 2:13 p.m. Sunday, Weber Fire District, Ogden Fire Department, Weber County Sheriff’s Office, Utah Highway Patrol, and Airlife Utah were dispatched to a motorcycle accident at the top of Monte Cristo. Airlife transferred one patient to a nearby hospital with serious injuries sustained in the crash. A second patient was reported to have significant but non-life threatening injuries and was transferred to a nearby hospital by Weber Fire District.

West Valley City, UTAH – In an interaction with police in West Valley City on Sunday afternoon, a suspect in an earlier incident was shot and injured. Officers arrived at 1:09 p.m. to reports of a person shot on S. Redwood Road. The 41-year-old victim was brought to the hospital in excellent condition with non-life threatening injuries. According to police, the original gunfire happened following an altercation between the two males over a suspected theft. The man was treated at the spot after a bullet grazed his skull.
