Ogden, UTAH – According to the Utah Highway Patrol, this unfortunate accident occurred right before 5 p.m. Sunday. It happened at milepost 15.5, near Pineview Reservoir. Utah Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash. Authorities say Audi traveling eastbound crossed the double yellow centerline and collided with Dodge pickup truck head-on. The driver of the Audi was pronounced dead at the scene. 9-year-old child and one adult, both passengers in the Audi, suffered serious injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
