UTAH – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right before 11 p.m. Friday. It happened in the 300 West in Spanish Fork. Authorities say an officer came to an intersection, he had the right-of-way and proceeded through the intersection. Another vehicle, coming in the other direction failed to stop and struck the police car. The driver then hit a pedestrian. Police say the pedestrian was pinned between the car and a tree. Provo, UT – According to the health officials, 14 COVID-19 related deaths were reported as well. Officials say the new cases were confirmed out of 7,878 people tested. The rolling seven-day average daily of positive tests is 1,010 per day. The average rate of people who test positive is 13.6%. Health care workers administered 9,280 more vaccine doses since the previous day, bringing the total number of vaccinations given in the state to 3,166,428. 399 people in the state are hospitalized with the disease.
