OGDEN, Utah – The Utah Department of Health did not release a case count on Friday, so Saturday’s case count has been adjusted to reflect cases that would have been included in that report. New Cases 5,042 new cases were included in Saturday’s report. 3,110 of those would have been included in Friday’s report. 281,654 cases have now been reported in Utah. Testing 14,900 new tests were administered since Thursday’s; 9,131 would have been included in Friday’s report. 1,740,903 people have now been tested in Utah. OGDEN, Utah – Utah is reportedly getting much fewer doses of the COVID-19 vaccine from the federal government per capita than other states.  Elected officials say they’re trying to determine why this is happening, especially since health departments are equipped to give out many more doses than they currently are.
