OGDEN, Utah – An Amber Alert issued for a missing baby boy was canceled Wednesday night, after the Davis County Sheriff’s Office said he was found safe in Salt Lake County. Earlier in the day, investigators issued the alert for an eight pound baby boy, identified only as Baby Torres, about 19 inches long. The Davis County Sheriff’s Office said at the time the missing baby boy may have been with his mother, Maria Ann Torres, who does not have custody.
OGDEN, Utah – President Donald Trump signed a declaration Tuesday making FEMA funding available to Utah for damage during a major wind storm last year. Entities in Davis, Morgan, Salt Lake, and Weber County that sustained significant damage during the storm will be eligible for money, the Utah Division of Emergency Management announced Wednesday. The storm in September brought winds measured up to 112 miles per hour, uprooting trees and knocking out power for days to many along the Wasatch Front. Then-Gov.
