OGDEN, Utah – A Weber County man is facing several charges after being accused of forging his late wife’s will for his own financial benefit. Jody Allen Rhorer, 43, was arrested on Christmas Eve for three felonies, including forgery, computer crimes and wrongful lien, according to a probable cause affidavit. Rhorer reportedly made changes to his late wife’s registered agent information with Four Boys Investments, LLC through the Utah Department of Commerce on Nov. 23. OGDEN, Utah – Witnesses called by Davis County in its effort to keep certain jail standards confidential have testified the information’s release would significantly damage the private copyright holders. In the second day of a trial via Webex video, Sevier County Sheriff Nathan Curtis said he and others in the Utah Sheriffs Association were concerned about civil libertarians using public records laws “to get access to someone’s private property.”
