Ogden, UTAH – According to the state officials, Governor Cox also issued the following statement: “We’ve encouraged Congress to pass legislation to provide certainty for our Afghan allies who put their lives on the line for us and are now resettled in Utah. Salt Lake, UTAH – According to the police officials, this unfortunate accident occurred right before 11 a.m. Monday morning. It happened on S. 900 East. Salt Lake City Police Department officials responded to a report of a crash. The responding officers discovered that a 74-year-old female pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle. The unidentified woman suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police officials said that the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with the police investigation. This incident remains under investigation.
