CEDAR CITY, Utah — A man was pronounced dead following a stabbing incident Wednesday evening in Cedar City. The Iron County Sheriff’s Office, along with a SWAT team, responded to the scene around 5:20 p.m. at a residence located at approximately 4200 West 6800 North. Upon arrival, authorities discovered two men involved in the incident. One man was immediately taken into police custody and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. KANAB, Utah — Kanab Police Chief Thomas Cram has pleaded guilty to striking a pedestrian with his vehicle while on duty. The incident occurred on November 18, 2024, when Chief Cram was driving along 300 South in Kanab and hit a 58-year-old man who was crossing the street at a marked crosswalk. Cram claimed that the sun obstructed his view, leading to the collision.
