South Jordan, Utah – A firefighter with the South Jordan Fire Department tragically passed away while on duty Monday afternoon. The incident occurred at Fire Station 61, where the firefighter was found unresponsive in his room just after 2 p.m. Despite immediate efforts from colleagues to provide life-saving measures, and assistance requested from nearby stations, the firefighter was later transported to Jordan Valley Hospital.
