Salt Lake City, UT — Christopher Burk, a former captain with the Salt Lake City Fire Department, appeared in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing regarding allegations of sexual assault involving multiple students during an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) class. Burk, who was dressed in prison garb, listened as victims and witnesses provided testimony about the incidents that allegedly occurred under his supervision.
