PROVO, Utah — Anthony Hamilton Beardall, 49, was charged Tuesday with threat of terrorism, a second-degree felony, and electronic communication harassment, following a series of alarming phone calls to the Missionary Training Center (MTC) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. According to court documents, on April 24, 2024, Beardall repeatedly called the MTC’s information line—making at least ten calls—and threatened to blow up the facility. SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — A 15-year-old South Jordan girl who had been missing since late April has been found safe in Colorado Springs, officials confirmed Sunday night. Alisa Petrov, who disappeared on April 21 after being seen on security footage leaving a train platform in Provo, turned herself in to the Colorado Springs Police Department earlier that evening.
