Ogden, UT – According to the statement, officials have worked closely with the United States Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Inspection Service on their incident response. Officials also said that the area in which the birds were located has been quarantined and the infected birds have been depopulated to prevent further spread of the disease. As part of existing avian influenza response plans, UDAF and its federal partners are working jointly on additional surveillance and testing in areas around the affected flock. Ogden, UTAH – According to the state officials, TikTok has been the subject of an investigation by Utah’s Department of Commerce’s Division of Consumer Protection in the state’s ongoing efforts to hold social media companies accountable for the harm they are causing to Utah’s children. After months of TikTok delaying and providing incomplete information in response to administrative subpoenas, the Division of Consumer Protection has filed a motion requesting the state district court to hold TikTok in contempt and force it to quickly comply with the subpoena.
