Salt Lake City – According to the court documents, his name is Brent Orton and he was sentenced to 51 months in prison for possessing Alpha PHP. Prosecutors say that the Alpha PHP is a designer drug and variant of bath salts that puts users into an “intense high” and is reported to mimic the effects of cocaine and methamphetamine. The 63-year-old man pled guilty to a one-count criminal information filed by federal prosecutors charging him with possession with intent to distribute the narcotic. UTAH – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred Sunday night. It happened in the east bound lanes near 1700 East in Sandy. A driver was headed west on 9400 South and collided head on with another car. The driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver in the second vehicle suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. Unfortunately, she later died. This incident is still under investigation.
