STANSBURY PARK, Utah — A young girl is alive today thanks to the quick thinking and courageous actions of two bystanders who pulled her from Stansbury Lake and administered CPR Wednesday evening. Just before 6 p.m., deputies from the Tooele County Sheriff’s Office responded to a distress call reporting a possible drowning at the lake. According to officials, a group of young girls had been practicing swimming when two of them began struggling in the water.
