UTAH – Governor Spencer J. Cox will hold a press conference Thursday, February 12, to discuss efforts to protect Utah citizens, the state’s agriculture community, and local institutions from adversarial foreign influence.
The event will include remarks from Representative Candice Pierucci, Representative Walt Brooks, and Commissioner Beau Mason of the Utah Department of Public Safety.
Officials are expected to outline new legislation and initiatives aimed at strengthening the state’s national security measures.
The press conference is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in the Gold Room of the Utah State Capitol. Members of the media and the public are invited to attend.
