WELLINGTON, Utah — A semi-truck crash has left a local couple physically injured and emotionally shaken after the vehicle slammed into their home in Carbon County three weeks ago.
On May 12, authorities reported that the truck driver fell asleep at the wheel, causing the semi-tanker to veer off the road and crash directly into the home of Paula and Valentine Udovich while they were inside. The impact demolished the house and resulted in both residents being hospitalized.
The couple is now focused on recovering from their injuries and coping with the aftermath of the devastating accident, which has forever altered their lives.
Local law enforcement continues to investigate the incident, highlighting the dangers of driver fatigue on the road.
