Ogden, UT – A Springville High School student was arrested Thursday afternoon after allegedly threatening another student with a gun in a school bathroom. The incident, which occurred around 1:30 p.m., prompted a swift response from local law enforcement.
According to authorities, the suspect threatened the victim with the weapon inside the bathroom. Officers were alerted to the situation shortly after, and a heavy police presence was seen at the school. Upon arriving, officers quickly identified the suspect, who had already left the premises by the time they arrived.
Investigators later tracked down the suspect, who was located by detectives and arrested. The student now faces charges of aggravated assault, brandishing a weapon, and bringing a dangerous weapon to school.
