The Ogden Canyon Bridges Project, which began in the spring of 2019, restored two bridges in the upper and lower canyons and replaced the mid-canyon bridge. For a better driving experience, the project improved drainage, enlarged shoulders, increased lifespan, and smoothed surfaces. The canyon road is now open in both directions, however some minor work on the lower canyon bridge remains. Continue to drive cautiously into the canyon, being attentive, focused, calm, sober, and buckled. Check traffic conditions ahead of time at udot.utah.gov/traffic or by downloading the UDOT Traffic app.
