OGDEN, Utah – A Clinton man killed in an avalanche in a popular backcountry ski and snowboarding area has been identified. Kevin Jack Steuterman, 31, died Friday, while snowboarding in the Dutch Draw area, just off the 9990 chairlift in the Canyons area of Park City Ski Resort. “Our hearts break for the Steuterman family and friends. OGDEN, Utah — Rep. LaWanna “Lou” Shurtliff, D-Ogden, died Wednesday night after a three-week battle with pneumonia. Weber County’s lone Democrat, Shurtliff, who was just reelected to represent House District 10, had been hospitalized for three weeks after becoming sick on Dec. 6.
