Over 5K COVID-19 vaccines distributed in Weber-Morgan area; more mass clinics to come

OGDEN, Utah — The Weber-Morgan Health Department has already vaccinated more than 5,000 people for the COVID-19 virus and more mass distribution clinics are on the way. Officials from the department briefed the Ogden City Council on Tuesday night on their vaccine distribution plan, which they say is currently a very fluid process.

OGDE, Utah – “Can you hear my voice right now, kind of scratchy?” said Two Rivers High School history teacher Bryan Hatch over the phone. “That’s asthma.” The illness, which he was diagnosed with two years ago, has made Hatch extra nervous about the possibility of contracting COVID-19. Nevertheless, he and his wife still weren’t sure at first whether they would get a vaccine against the virus.
