INDIANOLA, Utah — A 68-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon in a head-on collision on US Highway 89 near mile marker 293 in Sanpete County, approximately six miles south of Birdseye. According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, the driver of a southbound Chevrolet Tahoe is suspected to have suffered a medical emergency while driving. The vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a northbound semi-truck. The driver of the Tahoe was pronounced dead at the scene.
