Per reports, the mother was arrested for felony child abuse after she allegedly took her 7-year-old son into a Walmart bathroom and did something unthinkable. The 47-year-old mother, Jeanine, reportedly purchased hand sanitizer and needle-nose pliers. According to police, the boy’s older brother and an employee at the store heard him screaming in the bathroom and managed to get him out of the restroom.
The mother reportedly pulled two of his teeth with pliers. The mother did not use any anesthetic to dull the pain of pulling the teeth, prosecutors said. The mother, who a family website says is a music teacher, has a history of mental illness and was charged with disorderly conduct.
The 7-year-old is reported to have told his brother that one of his teeth was loose, but the other was only slightly loose. Sgt. Paul said the child’s teeth came out in multiple pieces.
“When she proceeded to extract them, they didn’t come out in one whole piece. There were multiple pieces. So that illustrates that they were still very attached to this child’s mouth,” Paul said. We are republishing this story in light of recent reports that show child abuse has significantly increased during the COVID-19 pandemic.
