Ogden, UT – The Ogden City Police Department is claiming bragging rights after competing against local firefighters in a chili cook-off during the Ogden-Weber Community Action Partnership’s Through the Decades event.
Police said the event brought together costumes, community activities and friendly competition, including a Police vs. Fire chili cook-off.
In a social media post, the department thanked OWCAP for organizing the event and bringing the community together for an evening of fun.
The gathering gave residents an opportunity to spend time with local first responders outside their usual duties, with officers and firefighters participating in the friendly competition.
While the department did not share official judging results or details about the cook-off, Ogden police made their preference clear when it came to choosing the winner.
“And as for who makes the better chili… Ogden Police,” the department wrote.
Police also thanked everyone who attended and helped make the event a success.
