Ogden, UT – The Ogden Police Department in Utah is recognizing correctional personnel during National Corrections and Employees Appreciation Week, highlighting the work of the Weber County Sheriff’s Office corrections team.
According to the department, Ogden officers work closely with jail and corrections staff on a daily basis and rely on their support to help maintain safe and efficient operations across the criminal justice system.
Officials said much of the work performed by corrections employees happens behind the scenes, but plays an important role in supporting law enforcement operations throughout Weber County.
The department expressed appreciation for the partnership with local corrections staff and extended thanks to correctional personnel nationwide working in jails, prisons, and community corrections facilities.
