OGDEN, Utah – The Utah Department of Health is reporting 4,672 new COVID-19 cases Thursday along with 13 new deaths. UDOH released the following statistics: Positives: UDOH reports 276,612 positive cases today. This is an increase of 4,672 cases since yesterday. Vaccines: UDOH reports 30,200 vaccines administered. Notes: “Doses Administered” is the number of vaccine doses that have been given to people and reported to the UDOH. OGDEN, Utah — There’s no shortage of demand among the elderly to be vaccinated against COVID-19. As of late Monday afternoon, around 6,500 people 70 and older in Weber and Morgan counties had put their names on the waiting list to be vaccinated when vaccinations in the age group begin in Ogden on Jan. 19. That was up from 4,500 as of Monday morning, according to Lori Buttars, spokesperson for the Weber-Morgan Health Department.
