OGDEN, Utah – Utah officials are preparing to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Utah’s statehood with televised musical performances and live fireworks throughout the state. The anniversary celebration, which will take place Monday, is meant to offer “every Utahn an opportunity to reflect on our shared history and look optimistically to our future,” according to the Utah Department of Heritage and Arts, which is hosting the celebration.
