OGDEN, Utah — Ogden police will announce the retirement of Chief Randy Watt on Tuesday, as well as introduce his successor. “On Dec. 29, at 11 a.m., Ogden City Mayor Mike Caldwell will be conducting a press conference to announce the retirement of Ogden Police Chief Randy Watt,” said a late afternoon news release from Ogden PD Monday. “Following that announcement, Mayor Caldwell will introduce the new Ogden police chief.” Officials have not said who Watt’s successor will be. OGDEN, Utah – Today is the final day on the job for a well known member of the community. After 28 and a half years, Uintah Recreation District Director Robin O’Driscoll is ready for retirement. “I have loved my job, absolutely loved it” shares O’Driscoll. “It’s just time to retire and spend some time with my family.” O’Driscoll says she won’t be going anywhere and plans to remain active in the community.
