MILL CREEK, Utah — Millcreek Mayor Jeff Silvestrini has raised serious concerns regarding the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents following a traffic stop in late January. In an email sent to ICE representative Jason Knight, Silvestrini described the agents’ conduct as “unprofessional and perhaps criminal,” stemming from an incident where ICE agents accused a driver of swerving toward them in an attempt to sideswipe them. OGDEN, UT — A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with an arson that destroyed an under-construction apartment building in Ogden over the weekend. The fire, which was reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, quickly engulfed the building, located across from the Ogden Public Safety Building at 2186 Lincoln Avenue.
