SALT LAKE CITY, UT — An 18-year-old man was arrested Friday night after causing a four-car crash in Salt Lake City while speeding and driving under the influence, according to Salt Lake City Police. At approximately 8:50 p.m. on January 24, an officer with the Salt Lake City Police Department was en route to the Public Safety Building when they came upon the scene of the crash, which had just occurred. The officer immediately assessed the situation and determined that the suspect, later identified as Cesar Rojas, 18, was responsible for the collision. Ogden, UT – Utah lawmakers have advanced a bill that would significantly restrict labor rights in the state’s public sector, sparking heated debates across the political spectrum. The proposed legislation, which passed the House Business, Labor and Commerce Committee in an 11-4 vote, seeks to eliminate collective bargaining for all public sector employees, including teachers, law enforcement, and transit workers.
