TOOELE, Utah — A driver is in the hospital following a crash involving a passenger car and a semi-truck on Monday afternoon in Tooele. According to the Tooele Police Department, the incident occurred on SR-36, between 2200 and 2400 North, when the passenger car, traveling southbound, crossed over the cement divider separating the northbound and southbound lanes. The car then collided with an oncoming semi-truck carrying construction materials. EDEN, Utah – Two people were injured in a serious crash on Powder Mountain Road Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on January 16 near 5300 North, when the driver of a box truck reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The truck veered off the road and collided with the mountain, ejecting both the driver and passenger. Responding quickly to the scene, Weber Fire District personnel assisted the injured individuals, transporting them to the hospital.
