TOOELE COUNTY, Utah — A shooting in Tooele County is under investigation following a confrontation between an injured driver and a man who allegedly tried to assist him on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred near Burmester Road and I-80, outside of Grantsville, where two individuals were flying drones. According to the Tooele County Sheriff’s Office, a car approached the area where the drone operators were, stopping about 50 feet away. TOOELE, Utah — A driver was hospitalized Monday afternoon following a crash involving a passenger car and a semi-truck on State Route 36 in Tooele. According to Sgt. Shawn Sagers of the Tooele Police Department, the incident occurred when a southbound passenger vehicle collided with a northbound semi-truck between 2200 and 2400 North. The driver of the car sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
