Ogden, UT – The Ogden City Fire Department reminded residents that a citywide ban on personal fireworks remained in effect as firefighters increased patrols across the city during the Fourth of July holiday weekend. According to the department, crews conducted enhanced patrols throughout Ogden, with additional attention focused on the foothill and east bench neighborhoods because of extremely dry conditions and an elevated wildfire risk. Ogden, UT – The City of Ogden is preparing to begin construction on a new all-abilities playground at Lester Park, replacing the existing play area with an updated space designed for children of all ages and abilities. According to the city, crews will begin removing the current playground starting Tuesday to make way for the new installation. Officials said the redesigned playground will provide an inclusive environment where children can play, explore and connect regardless of their abilities.
