RIVERTON, Utah — A 16-year-old boy was taken into custody Wednesday evening after allegedly shooting his uncle three times following an argument, authorities said. Officers with the Riverton Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 6:30 p.m. near 13480 South Homestead Lane. According to police spokesperson Josh Lee, the suspect and his 35-year-old uncle were involved in a verbal dispute that escalated outside, spilling into the front yard.
