TOOELE, Utah — A driver was hospitalized Monday afternoon following a crash involving a passenger car and a semi-truck on State Route 36 in Tooele.
According to Sgt. Shawn Sagers of the Tooele Police Department, the incident occurred when a southbound passenger vehicle collided with a northbound semi-truck between 2200 and 2400 North. The driver of the car sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver of the semi-truck, which was carrying construction materials at the time, reported minor injuries but declined further medical attention and was not transported to the hospital.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the crash, and the investigation is ongoing. No further updates have been provided at this time.
