Ogden, Utah — A juvenile is facing multiple felony charges following a violent altercation that left another child hospitalized in critical condition. The incident occurred on Saturday morning, when deputies from the Weber County Sheriff’s Office and Metro Crime Scene Investigation team, along with medical personnel from the Weber Fire District, responded to a home near 5600 West and 3800 South.
According to the sheriff’s office, two juvenile boys were involved in an altercation, during which one of the boys was severely assaulted. The victim sustained serious injuries and was initially transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Due to the severity of the injuries, the child was later transferred to Primary Children’s Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
