Lehi Teen Arrested After Aggressive Door-to-Door Solicitation and Trespassing

LEHI, Utah — An 18-year-old man is facing multiple charges after allegedly engaging in aggressive door-to-door solicitation without a permit and attempting to enter several homes in a Lehi neighborhood. The suspect, identified as Graves Girard Glenn, was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass, aggressive solicitation, theft, and additional criminal trespassing charges.

The incident unfolded just before 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, when the Lehi Police Department responded to reports of a suspicious individual aggressively soliciting in the area. According to one caller, Glenn had knocked forcefully on her door, and when there was no answer, he attempted to enter her home. The caller, who provided doorbell camera footage, described the suspect as wearing all black and appearing to be persistent in his attempts.

When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered additional reports concerning Glenn’s behavior. One resident reported that he had entered their open garage without permission. In response to questioning, Glenn allegedly told officers that he was “just admiring” the garage, according to the affidavit.

A third report came from a homeowner who informed police that Glenn had approached their property despite a clearly displayed “no solicitation” sign. This prompted further investigation.

Upon contact, Glenn reportedly told officers that he had been trying to make face-to-face contact with residents and had been attempting to turn doorknobs to attract attention. He was arrested and taken into custody.

Officers also located a Segway belonging to Glenn, which was found plugged into a nearby church building to charge. When asked if he had received permission to use the church’s electricity, Glenn reportedly admitted that he had not.

Graves Girard Glenn faces several charges, including criminal trespass (class A misdemeanor), aggressive solicitation (class B misdemeanor), theft (class B misdemeanor), and additional criminal trespassing charges (class B misdemeanor). The case highlights growing concerns regarding unauthorized solicitation and trespassing in residential areas.

As the investigation continues, authorities are urging residents to report any suspicious activity and to be vigilant about safeguarding their homes and personal property.
