Ogden, UT – The Ogden Police Department in Utah has announced it is now responsible for security at the Ogden City Municipal Building on Washington Boulevard.
According to the department, the change is intended to create a safer and more welcoming environment for residents visiting the facility for city services.
Officials said police presence at the building will help improve safety and provide assistance to the public as needed.
The department encouraged visitors to stop by the second floor with any questions or to connect with staff, noting that officers are proud to serve the community in this new capacity.
