Kearns, Utah – The Silver Alert issued for 88-year-old Clarence Duone Pollard, who was reported missing on Saturday evening, has been canceled after he was found safe early Sunday morning.
Pollard was last seen on April 26 at approximately 6 p.m. in Kearns. Authorities had expressed concern that Pollard, a white male described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 127 pounds, with brown eyes and gray or partially gray hair, was headed to an unknown location in West Valley City.
The alert prompted a swift response from local law enforcement and search teams, who worked overnight to locate him. Pollard was found sometime before 10 a.m. on Sunday, though further details about his whereabouts during the missing period have not been disclosed.
At this time, no photos of Pollard have been provided by the authorities. However, the cancellation of the Silver Alert brings relief to the community, as the 88-year-old man has been safely located and is no longer considered at risk.
