Ogden, UT — A rollover crash on I-15 Friday morning left two people injured, one of them critically.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP), the incident occurred at approximately 9:15 a.m. when a vehicle was traveling northbound near 24th Street. The vehicle went off the roadway and rolled over. Neither of the two occupants was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, UHP officials confirmed.
The passenger was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver, who was also injured, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and UHP officials are continuing to gather details on the incident. Authorities urge all drivers and passengers to wear seatbelts at all times to help prevent serious injuries in the event of a crash.
