OGDEN, Utah – A 29-year-old man may face a homicide charge after he crashed into another vehicle in Ogden, killing the driver.
A silver Mitsubishi Lancer and a white Dodge pickup truck were stopped at a red light at the intersection of 12th Street and Washington Boulevard on Sunday night, according to Ogden police.
At the same time, a Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling eastbound, approaching the intersection at a high rate of speed, directly behind the Lancer.
The driver of the Hyundai, 29-year-old Bryce Owens, failed to stop and struck the rear of the Lancer, pushing it into the intersection. The vehicle also sideswiped the Dodge, according to police.
