Ogden, UT – The Ogden Police Department is congratulating participants of the 2026 Weber County Citizen Police Academy following their graduation from the program.
The seven-week course brought together community members who attended weekly sessions designed to provide a closer look at public safety operations across the region.
Participants engaged with law enforcement personnel, asked questions, and learned about the day-to-day responsibilities involved in policing and emergency response.
Officials credited program coordinator Diana Lopez for leading the initiative, along with partner agencies that contributed time and shared professional experience throughout the course.
Department representatives said programs like the Citizen Police Academy help foster stronger relationships between public safety agencies and the communities they serve by offering transparency and direct engagement.
