SANDY, Utah — A teenager was hospitalized after being shot Thursday evening in a reported gang-related incident near Big Bear Park. The Unified Police Department (UPD) responded to the scene at approximately 5 p.m., following reports of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, officers found evidence of a shooting, including shell casings scattered nearby. Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles speeding away from the scene shortly after the shots rang out.
