Officials said the SROs serve as mentors, role models, and protectors, building relationships with students, supporting teachers and staff, and helping maintain safe campuses. The department expressed gratitude for the officers’ commitment and the positive impact they have on Ogden’s youth and schools.

Ogden, UT – The Ogden City Police Department celebrated the promotion of two officers within its ranks, with Sergeant Flint advancing to Lieutenant and Officer Jensen promoted to Sergeant. Officials said Lieutenant Flint has demonstrated strong leadership and dedication throughout his career, consistently setting high standards for his team. Sergeant Jensen was recognized for his professionalism, work ethic, and ability to guide and support colleagues. Together, the two officers bring nearly 46 years of combined law enforcement experience, and the department highlighted their roles in shaping the future of the agency.
