Ogden, UT – The Ogden Police Department is celebrating the success of its inaugural Helmets & Heroes event, which brought together families, community organizations and local leaders for a day focused on bicycle safety and community engagement. Ogden, UT – The Ogden City Fire Department reminded residents that a citywide ban on personal fireworks remained in effect as firefighters increased patrols across the city during the Fourth of July holiday weekend. According to the department, crews conducted enhanced patrols throughout Ogden, with additional attention focused on the foothill and east bench neighborhoods because of extremely dry conditions and an elevated wildfire risk.
