TOOELE COUNTY, Utah — A shooting occurred Wednesday morning in Tooele County, leaving a driver seriously injured after an exchange of gunfire with a man who had attempted to help him. Authorities are investigating the incident, which took place near Burmester Road and Interstate 80, just outside of Grantsville. BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah — A man is dead after a fatal accident occurred on SR-91 near mile marker zero, just off Interstate 15, on Sunday afternoon. According to the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP), the man was outside his vehicle, attempting to make repairs when he was struck by another car. UHP officials reported that the victim had been working on his car along the side of the road when he was sideswiped by a passing vehicle.
