Ogden, UT – The Ogden City Police Department announced that two juvenile suspects have been taken into custody in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on October 7 near 5th Street and Gramercy Avenue. Officers responded to the scene around 2:45 p.m. and found a juvenile victim who had been shot. The victim later succumbed to his injuries. The first suspect was arrested on October 11, while the second was apprehended two days later in Denver, Colorado, by local law enforcement. Ogden, UT – According to the city officials, the gate to 9th Street Bike Park will be closed all day Wednesday, August 6, reopening by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 7, as crews install a new powerline to replace one damaged in a recent fire. While vehicle access to the top of the park will be restricted during this time, the area will remain safe and accessible for bicyclists and hikers. Officials thank the public for their understanding and patience during these important repairs.
