Ogden, UTAH – Utah’s higher education landscape is undergoing significant upheaval as several universities across the state are forced to make deep cuts in response to a new legislative mandate. Utah State University became the first institution to announce the elimination of more than two dozen academic programs, including majors in engineering, public health, and elementary education. WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — Jared Dallan Buckley, the lead director of the Leadership Learning Academy, a K-6 charter school, was arrested Tuesday on multiple felony charges related to child sexual exploitation. Buckley, 40, faces two first-degree felony counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor and one second-degree felony count of sexual exploitation of a minor.
